This

currently
CEO

Chang
&
Company,
was
born
in
Shanghai,
China
and,
after
college,
came
to
Japan
to
study
in
Tōkyō
University's
graduate
school,
earning
a
Master's
degree.
After
graduation,
she
got
a
job
with
a
firm
that
deals
in
foreign
capital-related
transactions
and
began
to
work
hard.
Not
long
afterwards,
she
met
a
Japanese
man,
married
him
and
returned
to
Japan
once
again.
Currently
she
works
at a
major
Japanese
television
station
doing
translations
of
Chinese
material
for
news
programming.
In
this
program,
we
talk
to
Ms.
Chang
about
how
her
encounter
with
the
Savior

This
week,
we
travel
to
the
Moriyasu
Shōgi
Dōjō
in
Hyōgo
Prefecture's
Kawanishi
City
to
interview
shōgi
master
Masayuki
Moriyasu.
Before
retiring
in
2004
after
33
years
in
competition,
Moriyasu
was
rated
with
a
level
seven
(nana-dan)
professional
ranking
in
this
game
of
skill
that's
known
to
the
Western
world
as
Japanese
chess.
Both
Moriyasu
and
his
younger
brother,
Hidemitsu
(kyū-dan),
received
training
in
the
game
from
Kingō
Fujiuchi,
a
disciple
of
the
famous
shōgi
master,
Sankichi
Sakata.
Now,
he
operates
his
own
dōjō
(training
school)
to
develop
future
shōgi
players.
In
this
program,
we
talk
with
him
and
his
wife
about
the
game
of
shōgi
and
about
their
faith
in
Christ. |

with

handicapped
people.

of
her
work,
she
talks
with

about

challenges

her
work

also

how
God
led
her
to
become
involved
in
such
an

After
the
success
of
her
audio
book
of
Christian
author
Ayako
Miura's
Shiokari
Pass,
pro
narrator
Keiko
Nakamura
has
now
completed
a CD
of
another
of
Miura's
books,
The
Wind
Is
Howling.
In
preparation
for
the
recording,
Nakamura
traveled
to
the
hometown
of
the
Miuras,
Asahikawa
in
Hokkaidō,
to
visit
with
the
people
who
knew
Ayako
Miura
well.
In
this
first
of
two
programs,
Nakamura
and
Prof.
Tatsuei
Morishita
visit
Shunkōdai,
the
place
in
the
book
where
Miura
went
with
her
young
friend,
Tadashi
Maekawa,
and
had
a
life-changing
experience.
We
also
talk
with
some
of
the
folks
who
knew
Ayako
Miura
when
she
was
a
teacher
at
Keimei
Elementary
School
in
Asahikawa.
They
share
their
memories
of
that
great
lady
and
the
times
in
which
they

The
Japan
Bible
Society
recently
published
the
first
two
volumes
in
their
new
Manga
Bible
series
--
"The
Messiah"
and
"The
Apostles."
Lead
artist
for
the
project
is
Kelly
Shinozawa,
who
debuted
her
artistic
talents
at
the
age
of
19
when
she
published
a
series
of
comic
books
designed
to
appeal
to
teen-aged
girls.
An
encounter
with
Christ
during
an
overseas
stay,
however,
brought
her
back
to
this
sphere
as a
Christian
artist
in
2005.
She
and
her
husband,
along
with
his
parents,
now
operate
a
farm
in
Takayama,
Gifu
Prefecture
and,
at
the
same
time,
continue
producing
the
art
work
that
God
has
so
greatly
gifted
her
for.
In
this
program,
she
shares
her
story
with

the
Ebisu
area
of
Tōkyō
on
March
9th.
Speaker
for
the
event
was
Tatsuei
Morishita,
editorial
supervisor
and
research
fellow
at
the
Ayako
Miura
Memorial
Literature
Center,
and
former
assistant
professor
at
Fukuoka
Women's
College.
The
title
of
his
presentation
was,
"The
World
of
Shiokari
Pass:
the
Joy
of
Being
a
Fool
for
Christ"
and
in
this
program,
we
bring
you
some
of
the
insights
he
shared
with
the
