the
"Cana
Club"
ministry
which
helps

people
find
prospective
marriage
partners.

Tadashi
Ōishi
lost
his
hearing
when
he
was
a
child
and
suffered
the
unavoidable
pain
that
deaf
people
who
live
in a
hearing
world
go
through.
Ōishi
says
that
he
began
to
take
the
anger
he
felt
at
being
bullied
at
school
out
on
his
mother.
However,
he
eventually
started
going
to
church
and,
at
the
age
of
46,
he
says
he
finally
understood
the
meaning
of
the
Cross
of
Christ.
In
this
program,
we
feature
some
of
the
poetry
that
Ōishi
published
in a
collection
of
his
works,
Quietly
Listening.
He
talks
with
us
about
his
mother
and
his
faith
in
Christ.
His
comments
