In this week's program, we pay a visit to the soccer school and ask Coach Ortega why it is that he carries a burden for helping Japanese children. At the age of five, Yashuhiro Kitada lost his eyesight and also lived through the pain of his parents' subsequent divorce. In the midst of that pain, it was a high school teacher that gave him the encouragement he needed to go on. In the end, it was music that helped him find the path he would take in life and he currently performs about 80 concerts a year. Last month, Kitada and his wife, Yōko, appeared as guests on the program and this month, we present them in concert. Listen and let their music bring peace to your heart.

Yasuhiro Kitada has suffered through the loss of his sight when he was five years old and his parents' subsequent divorce.
