	Week 2	#995	"Textbook for Romance" -- *Katsuya & Mikiko Iida* The author of the recently published Textbook for Romance and his wife are our guests this week. Currently, Katsuya Iida is pastor of "J-House," an out-of-the-ordinary kind of church located near Umeda Station in Ōsaka's famous "Kita" business district. The church has grown significantly in recent months as the result of his focus on reaching out to young people. Iida himself lived the life of a playboy in his own youth, so what was it that happened to him to make him want to become a pastor? You're sure to find this program to be an interesting one.
	Week 3	#996	"A Message from the Holy Land #5" The focus of this week's program is the famous fortress of Masada, where Jewish rebels held out against the Roman army in the first century A.D. After the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70, approximately 900 Jewish patriots and their families held out here for over two years before committing mass suicide. In this program, we explore the meaning of the drama that was played out here and how modern Israelis relate to that tragic event.
	Week 4	#997	"A Message from the Holy Land #6" This week, we visit the famous place where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered: Qumran. While we're there, our guide, Sara, shares with us a powerful testimony about her life as a Jew that believes in Jesus as her Messiah. We also talk about the impact the discovery of the scrolls has had on the world. It's a program that will give you an authentic taste of life in the desert.

	Week 1	#998	"Christian World News #27" This week's program is the next in our regular series of news reports from around the world, courtesy of the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) in the United States. This week's reports all focus upon young people. First we look at an evangelistic outreach with Luis Palau in Argentina, then a "cutting-edge" youth church in the U.S., a story about some young Christian who are working to help feed the world's hungry children and, finally, we take a look at how the death of Pope John Paul II has affected young people in the Philippines.
	Week 2	#999	"The Problem of Cults, Part 1" -- *Rev. Hisoka Murakami* The Seishin Chūō Kyōkai (Central Church of Holy God) child molestation incident in April sent shockwaves throughout Japan. As the subject of a two-week series, we'll be doing some heavy thinking about the cult problem which seems to have become so widespread in recent days. Our guest is the spokesman for the group which is representing the victims in this incident, Rev. Hisoka Murakami, pastor of the Kyōto Assembly of God Church. In this first program, Pastor Murakami, who is a former member of the Unification Church, will share about how he himself was delivered from the influence of this well-known destructive cult group.
	Week 3	#1000	"The Problem of Cults, Part 2" -- *Rev. Hisoka Murakami* In this second of a two-part series, we'll explore what was really going on behind the scenes in the Seishin Chūō Kyōkai incident that hit the news in April of this year. Rev. Hisoka Murakami, who has been offering pastoral care and counsel to the victims in this case, will share with us about what kind of group this is, where the problems were, and where things will be going from here on. To help prevent yourself from also becoming a victim of a destructive cult group, this program is a must-see. Don't miss it!
	Week 4	#1001	"A Message from the Holy Land #7" In this program, we'll be visiting the place where Jesus grew up: Nazareth. Presently, Nazareth is a predominantly Arab city of about 50,000 people where both Muslims and Christians live together. We'll be visiting the "Synagogue Church," a structure that closely resembles the way things looked in Jesus' day.

	Week 2	#1003	"For All the Needy Children" -- *Kazushito Takase* Kazushito Takase has worked on the staff of "World Vision Japan" for the past 17 years. He recently returned from a trip to Ethiopia and says he was greatly moved to see signs of renewal going on in this country that was once locked in the death grip of drought. In this program, we talk with Mr. Takase about how viewers can become involved in World Vision's program for offering support to the world's neediest children.
	Week 3	#1004	"A Message from the Holy Land #8" In our eighth program in this series, we'll be taking you around the Sea of Galilee area. Cruising the lake in a tour boat, you'll not want to miss the challenging message by Kenichi Nakagawa on the nature of our faith. We also get to hear directly from the Israeli fisherman who, along with his brother a few years ago, discovered the ancient "Jesus Boat" buried in the mud off the shore of the Sea of Galilee.
	Week 4	#1005	"A Message from the Holy Land #9" In this program, we visit the town of Capernaum, where Jesus began His public ministry. We'll be thinking together about what kind of influence Jesus' message had upon the Galilee area so long ago. How was it that he became, as the Apostle John said, "...the light [that] shines in the darkness" (Jn. 1:5) and still is the One who removes the darkness that lives in our own hearts? We'll talk about this and more in this program.
	Week 5	#1006	"The Wonder of Early Childhood Education, Part 1" -- *Kiyō Higashi* This week's program topic was prompted by the recent publication of a book with a rather unique title: Love...Plus a Little Dirt, Water and Some Junk. The author of the book is Kiyō Higashi, principal of Sayama Hikari Kindergarten in Sayama City, Saitama Prefecture, and today's guest. Higashi, who declares that kindergarten education is "filled with wonder," talks with us today about how he became a Christian and what it was that made him feel called to a career in childhood education. 	Week 4	#1010	"A Message from the Holy Land #10" In this 10th installment of the series, we visit the area where Jesus preached His famous "Sermon on the Mount" (Matt. 5). We also go to the Church of the Primacy of St. Peter, supposedly the place where the disciples met the risen Jesus after returning to Galilee. These places, then, become the catalyst for thinking about the meaning of Jesus' forgiveness of sins and the nature of His disciples' faith.
