This week, we bring you the first of two programs on the fortress of Masada near the Dead Sea. Here we discuss about how Bible history unfolded after the days of Jesus and about the historical meaning of Masada itself.
	Week 3	#1065	"The 37th Harvest Time Holy Land Tour Special, Part 4" This week is our fourth program in this new series and a continuation of last week's program on the fortress of Masada. This time we look at the ruins of a temple built by Herod the Great and the sauna baths that still exist atop the mountain fortress. We finish up with some thoughts about the awful tragedy that occurred in that place almost 2,000 years ago and what it means to the Israeli mind. It's a message that's so important for understanding the Jewish people today, so be sure and tune in.
	Week 4	#1066	"Bogus Bills Are No Joke! (Part 1)" -- *Yoshihide Matsumura* This week's guest is president of Matsumura Technology, Yoshihide Matsumura. Matsumura was the first expert to detect evidence that North Korea had flooded world markets with over $70 billion worth of counterfeit U.S. bills (known as the "Super K" bill). Mr. Matsumura is also a committed Christian, so in this program we talk with him about what it's like to be on the cutting edge of counterfeit detection work, as well as about what kind of a role his faith in Jesus Christ has played in his career.
	Week 5	#1067	"The Dollhouse Maker" -- *Sachie Sōma* This week's guest is Sachie Sōma, the creator of a fascinating array of miniature dollhouses. This year in April, Sōma made a name for herself by winning the grand prize and title of "Dollhouse King" in a televised championship event. In this program we showcase some stories about Lebanese Christians in Beirut and Sidon, plus the work of Operation Blessing in Akko and how the fighting has affected Christian sites in Israel.

Norio Sameshima, is pastor of a church in Hitoyoshi, Kumamoto Prefecture and also serves as a chaplain at the Hitoyoshi Agriculture Technology Institute, a boys reform school. Earlier in life, Rev. Sameshima made a living as a gambler, playing Pachinko slot machines as a full-time activity. His life, however, took an amazing turn in a different direction. What was it that changed him? We talk with him this week about that and much more.

	Week 4	#1071	"Bogus Bills Are No Joke! (Part 2)" -- *Yoshihide Matsumura* This week is the second part in our interview with Matsumura Technology's president, Yoshihide Matsumura. Matsumura is the person who discovered in 1994 the counterfeit money operation run by North Korea which was responsible for circulating some $70 billion worth of "Super-K" bogus U.S. currency throughout the world. And he is also a devout Christian. In this program we ask him to share with us how he became a believer in Christ and what that means to him in his work.

	Week 2	#1073	"The Teddy Bear Maker" -- *Meena Shiraishi* This week's guest, Meena Shiraishi, has won numerous awards for her Teddy Bear craft creations. Shiraishi graduated from a well-known music school, but said she started getting interested in Teddy Bears shortly thereafter and joyfully discovered that this was to be her life's work. The first time she entered one of her works in a contest, she won a prize for it. Shortly thereafter, however, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. In this program, we talk with her about that struggle with serious illness, the peace she eventually discovered in Christ and the joy of Teddy Bear creation.
	Week 3	#1074	"The 37th Harvest Time Holy Land Tour Special, Part 6" This week is our sixth program in this new series. This time, we take a look around at the desert ruins of the ancient Qumran community near the Dead Sea. The site has become famous around the world as the location of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Standing among the ruins, tour members get a real taste of the wilderness environment as tour leader Kenichi Nakagawa shares with them the fascinating story of how the Scrolls were discovered. You'll be drawn to the charm of Qumran, as well, so be sure and don't miss this program.
	Week 4	#1075	*"The Bible Story for the Japanese* Complete!" -- Katsuyuki Fujii** With the publication of one volume per year for the last four years, The Bible Story for the Japanese novel series is now complete with this final volume, The Nations. In this program, we talk with water-color artist Katsuyuki Fujii, who created the artwork for the entire book series. He shares with us about the details and the thinking that went into his illustrations. You'll get a bird's-eye view of the entire Bible by listening to the discussion. Don't miss it!

	Week 2	#1077	"Mikuni Restaurant Tour, Part 1" In August of 2002, we aired a program entitled, "The Story of Mikuni Restaurant." We had an excellent viewer response to that program, so this time we revisit the Mikuni Restaurant folks for a look at how things have developed there since we last saw them. They currently have three locations and two more are under construction (and site number six is in the planning stage!). In this program, we talk in more depth with owners Kōki and Komichi Arai about the secrets to their success. (Re-broadcast)

We continue with last week's visit to the ruins of the Qumran community on the Dead Sea. After giving you a look at a delicious lunch prepared for the group, tour leader Kenichi Nakagawa brings an important message that connects the ancient ruins of Qumran with the restoration of the modern state of Israel. You'll see first-hand the amazing appeal that Qumran has had for people down through the ages.
	Week 4	#1079	"Losing a Loved One" -- *Fumiko Yamamoto* This week's guest is a former Japanese pop music idol (Fumiko Sawada) and the recipient of a New Artist of the Year award for her debut album in 1981. Currently, as an entrepreneur and manager of several real estate properties, Fumiko Yamamoto's life has taken an amazing path to the present. After ending her show business life in her mid-20s, Yamamoto married and became a mother. To all appearances, she'd had a life of smooth sailing. However, when her husband was diagnosed with cancer, all that changed drastically. In this program Ms.Yamamoto talks with us about her trials and about how they led her to an encounter with Jesus Christ.
	Week 5	#1080	"The Parliament Christmas Festival 2006" This week, we give you a look at the 2006 Parliament Christmas Festival that took place at Tōkyō's Akasaka Prince Hotel on November 29th. Main speaker for the event was Shiseidō Cosmetic Company's former president and current advisor, Morio Ikeda, and special guest, former Finance Minister Sadakazu Tanigaki. Such a fitting conclusion for the year, you definitely won't want to miss this program.
